Fibre has been a passion for me since my late mother taught me to knit at the age of seven.
I started playing around with weaving in about 2011 on a second- hand rigid heddle loom and after encouragement from several more experienced weavers, I moved to a shaft loom. My first loom was a 4 shaft jack loom, which I still have, however I now prefer to weave on my 8 shaft countermarch. I enjoy weaving fine threads such as silk, cotton, and Merino.
I use PCW Fibreworks software for designing and enjoy the process of learning to create my own drafts. Weaving is my addiction, I just love it.
