I am an experienced multi-shaft loom weaver, working from my Osclay Weaving Studio in Loburn. I use a variety of fibres including Merino, silk, bamboo and alpaca to create very fine handwoven fabric. I design and weave using PCW and the looms in my studio include two computer-aided looms.
I specialise in designing and creating scarves, wraps and garments for men and women. My exhibitions have also featured woven art pieces. I am an experienced teacher and mentor and have received many awards for my weaving, both locally and nationally.
My work is sold in a number of galleries in the South Island. Commissions are a regular part of my work.
Until the Christchurch earthquakes, I was one of the three weavers in The Weavers’ Studio at the Christchurch Arts Centre. My weaving can now be seen at my working studio in Loburn.
